Welcome to Maldon and District u3a
No longer in full-time work or raising a family?
Make the most of life - meet like-minded people and explore new ideas, skills and interests.
We are a non-commercial organisation for people in Maldon and surrounding areas who are no longer in (nor seeking) full-time employment . We are part of a UK-wide movement of locally-run interest groups that provide a wide range of opportunities to come together to learn for fun.
We hold a monthly meeting with a guest speaker in Wickham Bishops village hall on the 3rd Monday each month.
We have nearly 40 activity groups which organise meetings and outings for their particular interests. We also have several social events during the year to which all members are invited.

| 17th August 2026 | A short medley of songs from our Guitar and Ukelele group, followed by Action for Family Carers Rebecca Loader Action for Family Carers is a local charity which has been supporting carers in Essex for decades. It was founded by Carers for Carers and has been making a positive difference to the lives of unpaid family Carers ever since. |
